YOGA
Steffy’s beautiful, nurturing teaching will guide guests through a heart-opening and expansive practice during our 10 day ‘Nourish’ retreat. Using yoga, meditation and pranayama she will create a safe space for you to connect with your heart energy. Using this connection, the practice will gently enable the clearing of any mental and emotional blocks, thus enabling a new understanding of how to best nourish and love yourself. All whilst cultivating a deep strength and flexibility in the physical body, to support this new level of self-awareness and healing.

The retreat is suitable for all levels of yogic experience – whether you are a new yogi or have a long-term practice.

WELLBEING FOOD, MENUS & WORKSHOP WITH LUCY HILL
Chaya’s Lucy Hill will bring her knowledge and understanding of wellbeing food to the retreat; ensuring a completely balanced and nourishing, not to mention tasty menu. The food will refer to the pillars of a therapeutic diet to best support you during retreat. With daily juices and homemade vegan mylks, two nourishing and delicious alkaline-focussed buffet style meals per day, unlimited fruits and herbal teas; all designed to leave you feeling clearer, lighter and brighter on every level.

As with all retreats, Lucy will also teach an optional 2 hour workshop; covering topics such as nut and seed milks, raw chocolate and other healthy and delicious ways to upgrade the way you eat - and the way you feel.

MENUS
Goan gourmet chefs adept in catering to every desire, will use local, seasonal ingredients to create a delicious, cleansing and nourishing menu; which will balance and clear the body whilst stimulating the palate. From typical Goan feasts, to the freshest local seafood through to pure raw vegan, the award-winning kitchen can accommodate all tastes and dietary requirements. 

Also included in the retreat price is the opportunity to visit the lively local night market. Additionally trips to a traditional Indian spice farm, Old Goa, Mapusa market, a wonderful local natural perfumer and other local sights can be arranged.

TULA MASSAGE & INSPIRATIONAL BREATHING WITH NICOLA PRICE
We are very privileged to welcome back Nicola Price on retreat this year in Goa. Nicola will be hosting a group workshop introducing guests to the profound benefits of 'Inspirational Breathing'. This simple but life-changing practice can enable people to really shift stuff... To let go of deeply suppressed emotions, to get clear of areas of their life, making way to access a sense of peace and relaxation... All by by connecting to their body on a cellular level by engaging with their own 'inspirational breath'. Nicola has been working with the breath for many years and is now training others in the practice from her studio and school near Brighton. Nicola will also be working with our guests who will each receive a 1.5 hour Tula style massage, which is included in the retreat price.

YOGA + VOGA
Each morning guests will be guided by Juliet through a grounding, slow and strengthening 2 hour vinyasa flow asana practice, enabling Vogis to gain a deeper understanding of the core of VOGA. Gently waking up the body, through breathwork, stretching and traditional yoga techniques which will also prepare guests for the 1.5 hr daily evening VOGA session... A sunset dynamic, creative and fun expression of the fusion of yoga and Vogueing, set to live DJ sets with VOGAs DJs Alex Gromadzki and Blonde Ambition.

Fresh from VOGA residencies at Soho House London, Istanbul, New York, and Berlin, Juliet Murrell, the East London creator of the cult exercise and lifestyle movement sweeping the globe, is set to host her first VOGA retreat on the beaches of Goa in February 2016. A fusion of yoga and voguing set to an 80’s beat, VOGA (houseofvoga.com) – launched in London in 2014 – combines the breath-synchronised movement of yoga with the expressive moves of a dance class, fusing alignment, power and strength with attitude and flamboyance.

Following on from three truly wonderful years in Goa, Chaya return to India for their fourth retreat at ‘Kaju Varo’ in January 2016. After an absolutely incredible week leading our Andalucian Yin, Yang and Alkaline retreat, we’re so happy and blessed to have the epic Aquila Yoga on board for this very special new year experience.

Aquila Yoga
Aquila has been practising since 1997. Finally completing her qualification in Ashtanga Vinyasa she began to teach at Stretch in East London and then on to teach internationally and at retreats and workshops. She has taken additional training primarily with Stewart Gilchrist and Amanda Denton and also with Ana Forrest, Manju Jois and Paul Harvey. She now splits her time between heading up a yoga studio in Dorset, Yogaspace and workshops at Stretch in London.
She teaches with compassion, humour and pure dedication to the tradition and where new research and learning is taking us.

During our Transitions retreat, Aquila will guide guests through a practice with the new year in mind. Using yoga, meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) to pave a way to move gracefully through the world. Cultivating a strength and flexibility to build the body, mind and soul ready to welcome in the new year and help you manifest your greatest potential.

As winter draws, the elements ask us as ‘human animals’ to create a safe, warm and nourishing space physically and metaphysically. The seasonal change naturally offers the opportunity to reflect and to re-connect to ourselves on all levels. Our special winter retreat will create the perfect environment to relax, replenish and connect to your core and your true, powerful self. When we are truly connected to our cores, we can weather any storm or indeed any thing winter throws at us!

LOCATION
Set amongst the incredible Oxfordshire countryside, Rocky Lane Farm is a truly magical place. We are so excited to be the first retreat here! A private home which has recently been completely renovated to support yoga and wellbeing, this is a treasure of peace and tranquillity. Think open fires, cosy walks and lots of R&R. Alongside beautiful, cleansing foods, nourishing yoga and plenty of space to unravel and replenish.


AQUILA YOGA
Aquila has been practising since 1997 when taken to Varanasi, India by her parents where she studied yoga alongside them from the age of 8. Throughout her teens it became a way to keep sane through the turmoil of growing into herself and understanding the world around her. After being rejected from her first YTT aged 19 she went back to the drawing board and explored the strange world of the London yoga scene. 

Finally completing her qualification in Ashtanga Vinyasa she began to teach at Stretch in East London and then on to teach internationally and at retreats and workshops. WELLBEING FOOD WORKSHOP
Lucy Hill will be hosting a 2-hour workshop during the week covering ‘Food for Wellbeing’. The workshop will discuss what wellbeing eating is, looking at some simple ways to upgrade the way you eat for better health, with a focus on immunity boosting and healthy gut-flora winter recipes, to support you and your body through the colder months.

GONG BATH WITH HOLLY WHITE
Holly White is a sound healer and kundalini yoga teacher. She will hold a deeply relaxing sound bath with the use of a number of gongs, which resonate the energy of various planets. This deeply healing practice has been known to create alleviate insomnia, cure colds and lift headaches amongst all sorts of other things… And all that is required to receive is to cuddle down under a blanket and close your eyes!
